I see with some trepidation that the property across the lake is for sale. The previous owner kept a relatively natural shoreline, and the house itself was barely visible from the lake. The property is surrounded by state land. Lots of wildlife visits the lake from the adjoining state land. The realtor states it has a "sand beach", which is a little decieving and invites mischief. Actually, the shoreline is primarily made up of natural vegetation. I am afraid of someone moving in with a different value system.
